Your Process. Our Injectable Expertise.
Real needs. Real answers.
How our equipment meets your clinical or production demands.
In the world of injectable drug manufacturing, production needs can differ significantly — from small clinical trial in small laboratories to high-speed production lines. Whether you're working with RTU vials, syringes, carpules, IV bags, or plastic containers, each project brings specific technical challenges. That’s why Comecer delivers tailored fill-finish equipment designed to be flexible, compact and sterile, to meet your needs.
On this page, you’ll find real questions based on real production needs — and the practical, targeted answers we provide through our advanced equipment. From automatic to robotic, from RABS to isolator containment, our technologies are built to adapt to your process. Whatever your challenge, we have the solution.
I need to produce clinical trial batches, but I have limited space. How can I manage this?
With LABLINE, it is possible to provide a compact machine for handling vials for filling, stoppering and crimping. The design is optimised for tray management, with the possibility to configure the unit with additional features to satisfy specific needs such as nitrogen blanketing or 100% vials check-weigh, everything in a small compact footprint that can be install in small testing areas.
What if I need to manage RTU (vial-syringe-cartridges) items, for clinical trials?
With FLEXLINE, you can manage RTU containers in a simplified way with a special manual loading system for Nest. This ensures compactness and functionality, as well as sterile management of the various container types and their closures during the filling and closing phase, because the operator just need to introduce the extracted Nest into a specifc support, while the robot automatically complete the main critical phases.
Could you provide a production line for veterinary applications with a filling capacity of 10 ml to 12,000 pch?
With VERSALINE, we can provide complete open RABS production lines under Uni-directional Air Flow (UDAF) or handling bottles for animal applications, whether SVP (small volume parenteral) up to 100ml or LVP (large volume parenteral) up to 500ml. The design cover all the main aseptic requirements, complying all the current pharmaceutical standards.
Can this line handle both glass and plastic bottles?
It is certainly possible to provide lines capable for handling glass bottles in bulk. This would include a washer (model LF) and a tunnel (model TSL) for feeding into the filling and closing machines. The filler machine infeed can also be configured to handle pre-sterilised plastic bottles, fed through an unscrambling unit, in the same line.
I need an IV bag filling line suitable for 500ml bags, with a capacity up to 700 bags per hour. Can you provide something that can operate in a small space?
Comecer can certainly offer IV BAGS FILLING MACHINES suitable for small spaces thanks to a compact design due to central transport turret, capable to move the bags along all the stations (as leak-testing, filling, closing). The machine can handle liquid or powder filling as well as cap insertion or welding sealing, under open RABS or Isolator, ensuring a complete sterile process.
I need a syringe line without operator intervention for 1 ml syringes in Nest, do you have it?
Comecer can offer FLEXLINE robotic version, capable of reaching up to 9,000 pch with a robotic module necessary for lid and liner removal from the Tub, followed by the robotic filler capable of handling syringes without human intervention. The flexibility of this equipment, allows you to handle also vials and cartridges in future. As with all Comecer machines, the containment can be either RABS or isolated.
Do you have the capability to insert the rod and apply the label? What can you offer?
Comecer can offer a complete line by adding a downstream FLEXLABEL unit, which can orient and insert the rear rod of the syringe and perform labelling using a vision-printing system (capable in case to perform OCV/OCR) that is configured according to the speific requirements, with flexibility to implement different printing head and camera vision system brands instead of standard ones in base configuration. The unit can be easiy installed in-line or stand-alone, fitting all the specific layout configurations.
