Comecer Donates 5.000 Euros to AGEOP Research for the Casa Gialla Project
Comecer recently made a significant donation to AGEOP Ricerca, an association that supports children with cancer and their families. The total contribution of 5,000 euros was earmarked for the Yellow House project, an initiative that offers support and shelter to children with cancer and their families during the difficult journey of treatment.
The donation was collected through two different channels: about half of the contribution was paid directly by the company, which has been supporting this project of the Bologna-based association for years, while the other half or so came from the generosity of Comecer employees, who actively participated in the traditional Christmas raffle, confirming the collective commitment to this cause of solidarity.
In fact, since 2020 Comecer has been supporting AGEOP Ricerca for the purchase and various activities in support of the Yellow House project, a functional building dedicated to children in care, equipped with large spaces for creative-therapeutic activities.
The small donation ceremony was held on Thursday, January 30th, at the Comecer headquarters in Castel Bolognese, with the participation of Simone Volpi, President of Comecer, and AGEOP Ricerca volunteers. On this occasion, a cheque for a total amount of 5,000 Euros was symbolically handed over in support of the association's activities.
This donation is a further example of Comecer's commitment to promoting social initiatives in the area, helping to improve the living conditions of people in difficult situations. It is a gesture of solidarity that fits in with the Christmas season that has just passed, underscoring the value of mutual support and demonstrating how collaboration between companies and their employees can make a difference in the lives of those most in need.
