Comecer Opens Its New Facility: A Strategic Milestone Marking a New Phase of the Company's Growth

A new production space that represents the culmination of a growth journey built over time and, at the same time, a decisive strategic choice for the future. With this vision, Comecer officially opens its new facility: a strategic investment in the company's history, designed to significantly strengthen its manufacturing capacity and reinforce its position as a leading player in the industries it serves, confirming its commitment to innovation, efficiency, and local development.

 

Covering approximately 3,200 square meters, the new building is much more than an expansion of available space - it is a tangible demonstration of Comecer's evolution and ambition to grow without limits. More space to manufacture, more space to collaborate, and more space to develop increasingly innovative solutions for its customers.

The new facility has been designed to accommodate advanced production lines and large-scale custom systems. Thanks to its 12-meter internal height and a specially engineered floor capable of supporting loads of up to 21 tons per square meter, the facility will enable the production of machinery that exceeds traditional standards in both size and weight, further expanding the company's manufacturing capabilities.

The investment will also enable Comecer to:

  • Enhance services by optimizing production and logistics processes and reducing customer delivery times.
  • Create employment opportunities, with plans to recruit new staff next year, including skilled workers, technicians, and office personnel.
  • Reduce energy consumption and environmental impact through a building designed according to high energy-efficiency standards, equipped with a photovoltaic system consisting of 254 solar panels, LED lighting, and state-of-the-art thermal insulation systems.
"This new facility is much more than an investment in space; it is an investment in our future. It enables us to grow, innovate, and provide even more effective support to our customers," said Simone Volpi, President of Comecer.
 
Also attending the inauguration ceremony, which culminated in the traditional ribbon-cutting event, was Luca Della Godenza, Mayor of Castel Bolognese, who expressed his appreciation for Comecer's growth journey, highlighting the company's value to the local area, its capacity for innovation, and its ongoing contribution to economic development and employment within the community.
 
In his closing remarks, Simone Volpi added:"We have not simply built additional space; we have built the future we envision - firmly rooted in our territory while already looking ahead to what comes next. This facility is a promise of everything Comecer still aspires to become."
 
The ceremony concluded with a buffet lunch and a gathering involving all employees based at Comecer's Castel Bolognese headquarters. It was an opportunity to celebrate together a milestone that marks an important chapter in the company's history, to share the achievements reached so far, and to thank the people whose daily commitment makes the company's growth possible and allows it to face future challenges with confidence.
