Once again, Comecer is proud to participate in the "Tackle Cancer Challenge", the solidarity initiative promoted by the Oncidium Foundation to raise awareness and funds in the fight against cancer.
After the great success of the second edition, which took place in May 2023, with the participation of more than 430 people and a total of 36,381 kilometers covered in just two weeks, the challenge is back with an even more ambitious goal: to reach together 50,000 km (32,000 miles) through any kind of sporting activity, from running to cycling, from swimming to trekking, with no limits to creativity in movement!
The Comecer team enthusiastically supports this initiative to raise awareness of the importance of radiotherapy in cancer treatment. This year, more than ever, our company's participation has been numerous and heartfelt, leading us to achieve an extraordinary result in the world rankings. An achievement that fills us with pride and shows how sport can be a powerful tool for unity and solidarity.
Congratulations to Andrea Rotondi, Riccardo Ruggeri and Marco Domenichini for their podium finishes in the 3rd Oncidium Tackle Challenge! Andrea took the first place on the podium with 1368 km run! They showed great determination and commitment to complete 1368 km (Andrea), 1010 km (Riccardo) and 875 km (Marco) respectively, we are very proud of you!
In addition, Comecer would like to thank all participants for their valuable contribution: The Comecer team covered an impressive 6006 km, ranking first among all participating companies!
